Eddie Alley
Belton – Carl “Eddie” Edward Alley, Jr., 60, of 2209 Hwy 252, husband of Joyce Wilson Alley, died Sunday, March 29, 2009 at Hospice of the Upstate in Anderson.
Born in Rock Hill, he was a son of the late Carl Edward Alley, Sr. and Ruth Dorn Alley of Donalds. He was a member of the Honea Path First Baptist Church, a retired truckdriver and a veteran of the U.S. Army, Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion and a life member of the V.F.W.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home and his mother of Donalds are: one son, David Alley of Honea Path; three brothers, John Michael “Mike” Alley and Roland H. “Ronnie” Alley of Honea Path and Walter Clark Alley of Donalds and two grandchildren, Cassie and Hope Alley of Anderson. He was predeceased by one son, Robert Edward Alley.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 4P.M. at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dale Phillips and Rev. Kevin Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories with Military Rites and Patriot Riders.
