Karen Maxwell

Deborah Karen Maxwell, 43, of 408 Smith Street Ext. died March 21, 2009 at her home. She was born in Greensboro, Georgia a daughter of Bonnie Evans Maxwell and the late Larry W. Maxwell. She was a member of Ware Shoals First Baptist and had been employed by the S.C. Department of Corrections.

Surviving are her Mother of Ware Shoals, a son Kemper Cook of Charleston, a brother Bill Maxwell of Iowa City, Iowa, two sisters Donna Maxwell of Charleston and Laurie Maxwell of Atlanta GA.

A Memorial service will be held at 4 pm Tuesday at the Ware Shoals First Baptist Church with the Rev. Leon Jones and the Rev. Dan Compton officiating. Visitation will be prior to service from 2:30 – 4 pm at the church.

Memorials should be made to the Alumni Association of Ware Shoals Schools in care of Mr. Bennett Medlin at 11889 Indian Mound Road, Ware Shoals SC 29692.

The Family is at the home of her mother, Bonnie Maxwell, 52 Dairy St. Ware Shoals.
