Annie Belle Shaw

Honea Path – Annie Belle Gilbert Shaw, 93 formerly of 200 Orr Street, widow of J.C. Shaw, died Monday at NHC in Anderson.

Born in Anderson county, she was a daughter of the late William Edward and Sallie Hughes Gilbert. She was retired from Anderson School Dist. 2 Lunch Rooms and was a member of Chiquola Baptist Church where she was very active in the WMU and Lou Fisher Sunday School Class.

Surviving are three sons; William Gilbert Shaw of Hartwell, Ga., Jerrell Shaw of Honea Path and Derrell Shaw of Ft. Inn, seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers; William V. Gilbert and Harold Gilbert and one sister; Dorris Gilbert.

Funeral services will be 3 PM Wednesday at Chiquola Baptist Church with Dr. Bill Hightower and Mr. Mark Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery.
