Ware Shoals, S.C. Herman Rudolph McKee, 84. husband of Betty Smith McKee of 6 North Greenwood Ave. died Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at Hospice House. He was a son of the late Mattie Bowick and Harvey H. McKee, Sr. Mr. McKee was a self-employed merchant and was a Mason and a Shriner.
Surviving besides his wife of the home are one son, Kenneth Herman McKee, Ware Shoals, one brother, Harvey H. McKee, Jr., Hodges, one sister, Dorothy Jeanes, Ware Shoals, two grandchildren, James B. McKee and wife, Amy Pruitt McKee, Honea Path and Kevin Herman McKee and wife, Connie, Waterloo.
He was pre-deceased by two sisters, Thelma Griffin and Hazel Peevler.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11 am at Parker-White Funeral Home with Rev. Leon Jones and Rev. Brock Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens with Masonic rites.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Friday 10-11 A.M. at Parker-White Funeral Home.
