VIOLA SMITH

Ware Shoals, S.C. Viola Friar Smith, 89, widow of Frank Smith died Saturday, January 24, 2009. Born in Greenville County, a daughter of J.P. and Bashie Lou Lindsey Friar, she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, the WMU and Willing Workers Sunday School Class.

Surviving are: four sons, Ray, Billy and Jackie Smith of Ware Shoals and David Smith of Waterloo; two daughters, Frankie Youmans and Evelyn Uldrick, Donalds; one sister, Betty Lord, Greenville, 16 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 pm at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Mike Smith and Rev. Lamar Babb officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Active Pallbearers will be Mark Smith, Steve McDade, Donnie Smith, Greg Smith, B.J. Smith, and Joel Holbrooks.

The family is at the home 5379 Hwy. 252 and will receive friends at Parker-White Funeral Home, Monday 7—9 pm.
