EDNA STRICKLAND
Ware Shoals, SC , 86, formerly of 1121 Buddy Knight Road, widow of Thomas (Shorty) Strickland died January 15, 2009 at Martha Franks Baptist Retirement Center in Laurens.
Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edward and Janie Reid Holland. She was a homemaker and a member of Harmony United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Janie Fulmer and her husband, George of Ware Shoals, two sons, Grady Strickland and his wife, Delma of Ware Shoals and Billy R. Strickland and his wife, Celita of Laurens: two brothers, Billy Holland and his wife, Shirley of Ware Shoals and Wilford Holland and his wife Charlotte of Honea Path; a sister, Sybil Willard and a sister-in-law, Mayme Holland of Ware Shoals; five grandchildren, Vickie S. Randolph, Mark Strickland, Yvonne F.Strom, Matthew Strickland and Seth Strickland, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by four brothers, Charles, Jack, J.T. and Grady Holland.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 17 at 11 am at Harmony United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, 6-8 pm at Parker-White Funeral Home.
