Hodges, SC Gary Wayne Burton, 54, of 1425 Morgan Road, died at his home January 14, 2009. He was born in Greenwood County, a son of James E. “Spud” Burton of Hodges and the late Marie Butler Burton. He was of the Baptist Faith

Surviving are a son,Travis Wooten and wife Lynn, Donalds, his step-mother, Julia C. Burton, Hodges, brother, Johnny Ray Burton, Ware Shoals, one sister, Debbie Coleman, Hodges, three grandchildren, Mikalyn Hudson, Belle’Wooten and Kade Wooten and a Special Aunt Lura Fisher, Honea Path.

Services will be conducted Saturday at 1 pm at Greenwood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Marcus Bishop officiating.

Active pallbearers will be Neal Richey, Chad Richey, John Hopkins, Sidney”Bodine”Brown, Ron Cook and Will Cook.
Honorary escort will be Ronnie Richey and Bennie Bryant.

The family will be at the home of Travis and Lynn Wooten, 99 Cowart Dr., Donalds and will receive friends Friday 7-9 pm at Parker-White Funeral Home.
