Steve Strickland

Honea Path – Kenneth Steve Strickland, 51, of 8115 Highway 20, died Wednesday at Self Regional Healthcare Center in Greenwood.

Born in Anderson County he was a son of Annie Laura “Sissy” Shirley Strickland and the late James Milton Strickland. He was a member of Keowee Baptist Church and was a retired painter.

Surviving are his mother of Honea Path, a daughter Amy Phillips of Ware Shoals, a brother, Dale Strickland of Honea Path, and two grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by two brothers Dave Strickland and Danny Strickland, and a sister, Ann Alewine.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday at Keowee Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Saturday at Pruitt Funeral Home. The body will be placed in the church at 1 P.M. Sunday. The family is at the home. Online condolences may be made at www.parkerwhitepruitt.com
