Roy William Campbell

Honea Path – Mr. Roy William Campbell, 82, husband of Brennie Faye Gosnell Campbell, of 695 Broadmouth Church Road, past away Sunday, December 21, 2008 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Honea Path, he was a son of the late Boyce and Myrtle Beeks Campbell and Alice Culbertson Campbell. He was a member of Broadmouth Baptist Church and was retired from Riegel Textiles in Ware Shoals.

Surviving in addition to his wife Brennie, of sixty years, are: one son, Cecil Campbell and wife Sandy of Fountain Inn; two grandsons, Kevin Campbell of Simpsonville and Brian Campbell of Grand Junction Co.; a niece, Lisa Jones and husband David and son Rhett.

He was preceded in death by his brother James “Coot” Campbell.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 2 P.M. at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. T. W. McGuffin officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.
