Amelia Davis


Laurens - Lethia Amelia Elledge Davis, 66, wife of Everette Wayne Davis of 439 Jimmy Hellams Road died December 10, 2008 at her home. She was born in Laurens County, a daughter of the late Benjamin Allen and Pearl McCullough Elledge Vaughn. She was retired from the Laurens County Sheriffs Dept. and was a member of Light House Baptist Church.

Surviving besides her husband of the home is a son, Robert Wayne Davis, Gray Court, one daughter, Arlene Fowler, Laurens, five brothers, Robert Elledge, Greenwood, Walter Elledge, Ware Shoals, Joseph Elledge, Honea Path, Edward Elledge, Simpsonville, Ben Elledge, Rayford, N.C.; two sisters, Ann Babb, Ware Shoals and Becky Arnett, Ware Shoals. Also, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 pm at Parker-White Funeral Home with the Rev. Alvin Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Jason Davis, Matthew Davis, Adam Davis, Steffan Fowler, Brandon Taylor and Robert Davis.
