Sandra R. Young

Honea Path – Mrs. Sandra Fay Rice Young, 54, of 310A Hampton Avenue, died Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.

Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, she was a daughter of Sara Motes Rice of Honea Path and the late John T. Rice. She was of the Baptist Faith and a homemaker.

Surviving in addition to her mother are: one son, Dylan Young and wife Selena of Lizella, Ga.; one brother, Johnny Rice of Honea Path and two sisters, Patsy Gambrell of Belton and Glenda Ridge and husband Carey of Rock Hill.

Graveside services will be held Thursday at 2 P.M. at the Garden of Memories with the Rev. Mike Moody officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 P.M. at Pruitt Funeral Home.
