Bud Bonds

Honea Path - Melvin “Bud” Bonds, 84, husband of Lillian Smith Bonds, of 17 Ervin St., died Friday at AnMed Health Center in Anderson.

Born in Ware Shoals he was a son of the late Worley and Florence Hamilton Bonds. He was a member of the Honea Path First Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife of the home, one daughter Terrie B Higginbotham, one grandson Scotty D. Higginbotham and wife Heather, and two great-grandchildren Cameron and Jasmine Higginbotham all of Honea Path. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:00P.M. Monday at Pruitt Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday at the Garden of Memories with Rev. Robert Beaver Officiating. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105
