Charles “Pop” Roberts

Honea Path – Mr. Charles Lee Roberts, 77, of 105 Emma Drive, widower of Eulalia Burgess, died Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at his home.

Born in Gaston County, he was the son of the late Charlie and Helen Hardin Roberts. He attended the First Baptist Church of Honea Path and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Surviving are: two daughters, Tammy Bradley and husband Eddie of Honea Path and Sharon Burnsed of Gastonia, N.C.; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Ronnie Roberts.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 P.M. at Pruitt Funeral Home and Sunday from 2-3 P.M. at Greenes Funeral Home in Gastonia, N.C. Funeral services to follow at 3 PM at Greenes Funeral Home.
