Princeton – Mabel Elizabeth Pruit Senn, 93, of the Princeton Community, departed this life Oct. 26, 2008 to go to her Heavenly home.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Thomas Nimrod Senn, and lived in Princeton, S.C. most of her married life. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Born in Due West, S.C., she was the daughter of the late James L. and Valeria Hawthorne Pruit. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her children; Thomas Pruit Senn, James Miles Senn and wife Sherry, Dorothy Senn Robinson and husband Beauford, all of the Honea Path area; one grandson, Jonathan Thomas Senn, and one granddaughter, Alissa Murphy.
Also surviving is a sister-in-law; Beatrice Senn and a special niece; Marion Pruit Sanders.
A member of Princeton Baptist Church for all her married life, she was a member of the Young at Heart, a former teacher of the Golden Circle Sunday School Class, and a former director of the W.M.U. She was a member of the W.M.U. since she was eighteen years old. Her church was very special to her heart.
She spent the last 5 ½ years at National Health Care in Anderson.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday at Princeton Baptist Church, with Rev. Gregg Loner and Rev. Gene Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday night at Pruitt Funeral Home. The body will be placed in the church at 1 PM Wednesday. The family is at the home of a son, James Senn, at 280 Latimer Mill Rd, Princeton. Online condolences may be made at www.parkerwhitepruitt.com.
