Martha Howard Hodges, 84 , of Gaines Road, widow of Andy M. Hodges died Sunday, October 5, 2008 at her home. She was born in Greenville County, a daughter of the late Daniel Newton and Ellen Bagwell Howard. She was retired from Huggins Garment Co. and was a member of Ware Shoals United Methodist Church.

Surviving are one son, Dan Hodges, Ware Shoals; one daughter, Hope Hodges Winkler and husband Ed, Greenville; one brother, Bennett Howard, Simpsonville, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted Monday at 3 pm at Greenwood Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Tina Thomas The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends after the service.
