Marvin Hayden
Davidson, N.C. – Marvin Lee Hayden, 51, of 1916 Davis Rd., died Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at Wake Forest University Baptist Hospital.
Born in Anderson County, S.C. he was a son of the late Alvin L. and Sarah Magdalene Keisler Hayden. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was a graduate of Dixie High School and Clemson University. He was employed by Duke Energy as an environmental engineer.
Surviving are two brothers, Kenneth Hayden and William Hayden, both of Belton, three sisters, Margaret Hayden of Anderson, Carolyn Locke of Belton, and Sarah Lindsay of Honea Path. He was pre-deceased by a sister, Doris Gregory.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, October 4th at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Kyle Antone officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday evening at Pruitt Funeral Home, Honea Path, S.C. The family is at the home of a sister, Carolyn Locke, 1881 Pine Top Road, Belton.
