Edward Lee Strawhorn

Greenwood – Edward Lee Strawhorn, 65 of 202 Sample Rd. , died Friday August 22, 2008 at the Hospice House in Greenwood.

Born in Anderson county, he was the son of E.V. Strawhorn of Due West and the late Margie Parker Strawhorn. He was a graduate of Erskine College and a member of Due West Baptist Church.

Surviving are his father of Due West, one daughter, Kendra Lane of Mobile, Al., one son, Derek Van Strawhorn of Byron, Ga. and three grandchildren.

A graveside memorial service will be held 11 A.M. Monday at Long Cane Cemetery in Abbeville with Rev. Bob Philyaw officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside following the service.
