Ashlee Rushton

Honea Path – Ashlee Nicole Rushton, 22, of 1027 Abercrombie Road went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 30, 2008.

Born in Anderson County she was a daughter of James Robert Rushton and Renee Shaw Mullinax. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Surviving are her father, James Robert “Jimmy” Rushton of Ninety Six, her mother, Renee Shaw Mullinax of Iva, two precious sons Javyn and Rylan of the home, a brother, James Robert Rushton III of Honea Path, two sisters, Jima Rushton and Tasha Rushton both of Greenwood, two step-brothers, Randall Norris of Easley and Jamie Norris of Iva, and a step sister, Ciera Pruitt of Easley. She is also survived by paternal grandmothers, Deloris Minnick of Ninety-Six and Patsy Rushton of Belton, maternal grandparents, Clyde and Nancy Hill of Honea Path and John W. Shaw and Pat Stone of Iva, and a maternal great-grandmother, Frances Bryant of Anderson.

Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Saturday at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. T.W. McGuffin, Rev. Ronald Chavis, and Rev. Lloyd Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 3 P.M. Saturday at Southside Baptist Church, Honea Path prior to the service. The family is at the home of her grandparents, Clyde and Nancy Hill, 1027 Abercrombie Rd., Honea Path. Pruitt Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
