Lewis Poore

Honea Path – Lewis Poore, 68, husband of Janette Phillips Poore, of 591 Legion Lake Road, died Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at Grand Strand Regional Hospital.

Born in Anderson County he was a son of the late Clyde and Lillian Taylor Poore. He was a member of the Honea Path First Assembly of God and was retired from Milliken Peerless Plant of Belton. He was an avid gardener.

Surviving are his wife of the home, two sons, Mark Poore and wife Donna of Honea Path, and Jeff Poore and wife Tammy of Honea Path, one brother, Jerry Poore of Lowndesville, two sisters, Linda Pollard of Anderson and Jean Smith of Belton, and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harmon Adkins, Rev. Paul Cooper, and Rev. Kyle Antone officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.
