CARROL “CARLO” PRUITT


Carrol “Carlo” Pruitt, 77, husband of Lula Mae Pruitt of 6347 Hwy 252 died Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at his home. He was born in Abbeville County, a son of the late James Hewlitt Graden and Ellen Hagen Pruitt.

He was retired from Riegel Textile Corp., and he was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He was twice married, first to the late Teeny Pruitt.

Surviving besides his wife of the home are two sons, Wayne Pruitt, Statesboro, Ga.,and Ricky Pruitt, Level Land, SC, three daughters, Toni Culbreth, Ware Shoals, Sheila Taylor, Ware Shoals and Cindy Harris, Greenwood; also ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 2 pm at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Wayne Wicker and Rev. Hans Wunch officiating.
Active pallbearers will be Cody Pruitt, Graden Pruitt, J.H,. Hagan, George Harris, Hix Culbreth and Len Taylor.

The family is at the home and will receive friends at the cemetery after the service. Parker-White Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
