Minnie Lee Ross

Honea Path – Minnie Lee Ross, 91, formerly of Maryland Ave., died Saturday, January 5, 2008 at Ellenburg Nursing Center in Anderson.

Born in Pelzer, she was a daughter of the late Robert Mack and Sarah Elizabeth Griffin Lollis. She was of the Holiness faith and was a retired textile worker.

Surviving are two daughters, Gale Whitt of Honea Path and Iretta Youmans of Stillmore, Ga., three grandchildren, Erica Giles and husband Kevin, Travis Bowman and wife Kym, and Shane Whitt and wife Kim, and three great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by two brothers, James and Joseph Lollis and two sisters, Ruth Baker and Carrie Lou Ross, and a grandson Davie Bowman.

Funeral services will be held at 4 P.M. Tuesday at Pruitt Funeral Home with Rev. James Ray Lollis and Rev. John Christmas officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.
