Furman Stephens

Honea Path – Furman Stephens, 76 of 5 Griffin Farm Road, died December 30, 2007 at An-Med Health Care.

Born in Anderson County he was a son of the late Nancy Jane Stephens. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was a retired carpenter and was employed by Anderson County.

Surviving are his sister, Addie Gunnells of the home and a special cousin, J.C. Stephens of Anderson. He was pre-deceased by a sister, Catherine Stephens.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ron Culbertson officiating. Burial will follow in Neals Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at Pruitt Funeral Home. The family is at the home. Memorials may be made to the Mt. Bethel Baptist Church Love Fund, 2603 Due West Highway, Belton, S.C. 29627.
