Lester Allen

Ware Shoals – David Lester Allen, 49, of 65 Telephone Ext. Rd., died Sunday December 30,2007 at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood.

Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late David Arthur and Betty Joe Poole Allen. He was of the Pentecostal faith.

Surviving are two sons, Sheynne Allen and Cody Ashley, both of Ware Shoals, and four sisters, Davine Cooley, Kathy Gilmer, and Vickie Fowler, all of Honea Path, and Sherry Medlock of Taylors. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Gary Dale Allen.

Graveside services will be held at 4 PM Thursday at Eastview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately after the service.
