Born in Abbeville County, he was a son of the late Julian Franklin and Ida Ruby Edwards Uldrick. He attended Calvary Baptist Church and was a member of Long Cane Presbyterian Church of Abbeville. He was a graduate of Abbeville High School and retired from Bosch of Anderson after 30 years of service.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn, of the home, five sons, Mark Uldrick (Melissa) of MI, Kevin Uldrick (Amy) of Hodges, Brent Uldrick (Kadie) of Greenwood, Steve McDade (Julie) of Abbeville and Jamie Reese (Amy) of AL, three daughters, Christal Raines (Rick) of Ware Shoals, Tracy Steffner (Clayton) of Ware Shoals, and Amanda Wood of Donalds, a sister, Dorothy McDonald of Greenwood, 22 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
He was pre-deceased by his parents, a brother, Charlie Uldrick, a sister, Helen Cannon, and a grandson, Dustin McConnell.
Memorial services will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Nix and Rev. Mike Smith officiating.
