Born in Masla Tadian Mountain Province, Philippines, she was a daughter of the late Catalino and Josefa Moyag Piacos. She was a member of the Greenwood Seventh Day Adventist Church. She worked as caregiver and medical massage therapist for 10 ½ years in Hong Kong, 4 ½ years in Italy, and 1 ½ years in Anderson. She also delivered newspapers for The Index-Journal.
Surviving are her husband, Claude of the home, two sons, Charles Cromer of Abbeville and Glen Cromer of Anderson, three daughters, Nube Cowan (Scott) of Greenwood, Audry Cromer of Abbeville, and Tammy Carti of Anderson, a brother Wilson Piacos of Masle Tadian, Philippines, eight grandchildren, Yzabel, Michael, Hannah, Tristin, Arizona, Daniel, Shallow, and Justin, and two great-grandchildren, Meelah and Loee. She is also survived by a niece, Margie Felipe Sexton (Brody) of Greenville, a brother-in-law, Terry Cromer, and a sister-in-law, Ronnie McGinnis.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday February 24, 2026 at the Greenwood Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Scott Burgess officiating. Burial will follow at 2 PM Tuesday in Upper Long Cane Cemetery, Abbeville.
