Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of Barry Lewis Hughes and Donna Beth Ross Quarles. She worked as a cook at Lou and Perry’s.
Missy is survived by her parents: Barry Lewis Hughes and wife Janie of Honea Path, and Donna Beth Ross Quarles of Donalds; her two sons: James Waters and Dustin Waters, both of Greenville; two brothers: Barry Dewayne Hughes and wife Kathy of Ware Shoals and Barry Adam Hughes of Belton; her sister April Dawn Williams of Belton; and two grandchildren: Colton James Waters of Belton and Hazel Marie Brock of Honea Path.
