Born in Elkhart, IN, he was a son of Beatrice Atha Rackley Casto and the late Robert Casto. He had formerly worked in construction.
Surviving are his mother, Beatrice of Hodges, a brother, Ted Franklin Casto of Greenwood, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. In addition to his father he was predeceased by three brothers, Robert Casto, Rickey Casto, and George Casto, and a sister, Carolyn Casto.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel, Ware Shoals, conducted by Rev. Mark Lowe. Burial will follow in the Ware Shoals Cemetery.
