Born in Ware Shoals, she was a daughter of the late Hosea Evans and Violet Loudermilk Madden. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. After graduating from Honea Path High School, she worked at Winn Dixie, C.W. Murphy Ford, and later drove the Senior Solutions Van. She loved the Lord, her church, and her family very much, and everyone who knew her knows how much she loved to laugh.
Surviving are a son, Mark Dukes of Honea Path, a daughter, Jennifer Ballard (Keith) of Anderson, three grandchildren, Stetson Dukes (Krystal) of Abbeville, Steven Satterfield (Lacey) of Honea Path, and Leigh Mullens (Corey) of Anderson, and seven great-grandchildren, Layla, Keighlee, Brynnlee, Ashton, Garison, McKinlee, and Briggs.
In addition to her parents and her husband Larry, she was predeceased by a son, Brad Dukes, and two sisters, Doris Street and Linda McEntyre.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gayle Beaudrot officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories, Belton.
