Born in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of the late James Henry and Marguerite Perkins Bagwell. She was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church and was retired from Grimes Aerospace. She formerly attended Calvary Baptist Church. She was twice married, first to the late Garrett Briggs.
Surviving are her husband, Roy, of Ware Shoals, two step-sons, Elroy Simpson of Ware Shoals and Lamar Simpson (Nancy) of Greenville, a step-daughter, Fay Sprouse (Billy) of Ware Shoals, three sisters, Harriett Sims (Jerry) of Greenwood, Judy Davis of Ware Shoals, and Beckey Phillips (Ronnie) of Princeton, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, February 5, 2026 in the Chapel Mausoleum at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Janice Hughey and Rev. Bill Rogers officiating. The family is at their respective homes. Online condolences may be made at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com
