Born in Belton, he was a son of the late Luther D. and Ethel Lawton Higginbotham.
Mr. Higginbotham is survived by his son Scotty Higginbotham and wife Heather; two grandchildren: Cameron and Jasmine Higginbotham; and his sister Patricia Carnahan.
He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends from 3-5 PM Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Pruitt Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
