Born in Ware Shoals, she was a daughter of the late Talmage Woodrow and Annie Sue Poole Prince. She was a member of West Main Street Church of God and had formerly worked at Riegel Textile Co. and Carolina Dye Works.
She was the last member of her immediate family and is survived by a step-son, John William McGee, six grandchildren, Jami Leanna McGee, William Clemson McGee II, Nick McGee, Hunter McGee, T.J. Bordelon, and Brandi Baron, and seven great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two sons, Matthew Steven McGee and Herman Clemson McGee, Jr., a brother James Prince, and two sisters, Lillian Irene Bunell and Patsy Sanford.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Ware Shoals Cemetery conducted by Rev. Mark Lowe.
