Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Ralph Manning and Alice Lucille Hollingsworth Price. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a graduate of Ware Shoals High School, and was retired after 23 years from US Army National Guard.
Mr. Price is survived by his two brothers: Thomas Dale Price (Von Dale) of Ware Shoals and Manning Calhoun Price of Huntsville, TX; and three nieces: Laura Alice Young of Greenwood, Melanie Barrett of Greenville and Alisa Dawn Smith of Johnson City, TN.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Alice Jean Price.
