Born in Belton, she was a daughter of the late John Jackson and Maybelle Landers Driver. She was a member of NewSpring Church, and was the owner of Merle Norman Cosmetics in Honea Path and Greenwood.
Mrs. Pruitt is survived by her grandson Nicolas James Hanks and wife Lauriana. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Cathy Hanks and her grandson Evan Hanks.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, September 12 at the Garden of Memories with Mr. Nicolas Hanks and Mr. Ronnie Hanks officiating.
