Born in Norton West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Cleo Mersing Gingrich. She was a member of Honea Path First Baptist Church. She was retired from Lowes. Mrs. Parks formerly worked at Sky City in Athens and Abbeville.
Surviving in addition to her loving husband of 27 years of the home are: her son, Bill Ramsey (Delana McGuire) of Pendleton; her step-son, W. Patrick (Renira) Parks of Augusta GA; four daughters, Kim Johnson of Carleton GA, Donna Borders of Greenwood, Kathy (Scott) Campbell of Athens GA, and Selma (Larry) Davis of Honea Path; her step-daughter, Debbie Thompson of Graniteville; her brother, Norman (Linda) Phillips of Rochester PA; ten grandchildren, Amber, Sophia, Thomas, Steven, Tonya, Clint, Conrad, Delano, Josh, and Renee; eleven great-grandchildren, Hunter, Braydon, Hadleigh, James, Jamie, Hayley, Cody, Taylyn, Tucker, Ryker, and Emerson; a great-great grandchild, Hazel, and her special puppy, Toby.
Mrs. Parks was preceded in death by her parents, and a grandchild, Austin.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Honea Path First Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Josh Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at 3 P.M. Wednesday at Parksville Baptist Church Cemetery, Parksville, SC.
