Born in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Stanley Lamar and Waynelene Ashley Watson. He was a member of Honea Path First Baptist Church. Brian loved the Dallas Cowboys and the Clemson Tigers.
Surviving are; his former wife and friend, Shannon Watson of Honea Path; two sons, Slade Mikyah Watson (Kennedy Cobb) and Jase Rivers Watson, both of Honea Path; special aunts and uncles, Ernestine Boland, Allie Parks, Joe Dean Ashley, Larry Ashley and Greer Ashley; and special cousins and friends, Meridith (Matt) Odom, Chris (Brandy) Ashley, Jager Ferguson and AJ (Ashley) Ferguson.
Memorial services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Josh Phillips officiating.
The family is at the home of Judy Lusk, 205 Ridge Run, Honea Path, and will receive friends from 1-2 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Honea Path First Baptist Church – Mission Trip Fund, 100 S. Main St. Honea Path, SC 29654.
Inurnment services will be held at 4 P.M. Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Garden of Memories with Rev. Dr. Josh Phillips officiating.
