Born in Due West, he was a son of the late Paul and Edith Daniel Strawhorn. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sally Ruth Fleming Strawhorn. He was a member of Austin Road Baptist Church, and has been a member and deacon of Northside Baptist, Calhoun Falls, and Honea Path First Baptist Church. Charles graduated from Dixie High School and Gupton Jones College of Mortuary Science of Atlanta, GA. He served upstate families for 41 years and retired from Parker-White-Pruitt Funeral Home. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Surviving are his wife Kathy of the home, a son, Daniel Strawhorn (Blythe) of Honea Path, a daughter Tami Strawhorn of Columbia, two grandchildren, Sawyer and Emerson, a sister-in-law, Joyce Strawhorn of Moore, as well as special friends Delaine (Timmy) Haynie of Lake Secession, SC and Danny (Deanna) Loftis of Vanna, GA.
He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Richard Strawhorn.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Austin Road Baptist Church, Honea Path, conducted by Rev. Billy Slatten and Rev. Jason Dorrity. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories, Belton.
