Earl McKee

Honea Path – John Earl McKee, 76, widower of the late Shirley Ann Moody McKee, of Goodrich Street, died Friday, January 24, 2025 at AnMed Medical Center.

 

Born in Anderson County, he was son of the late John and Joyce Tollison McKee. He was a member of Cannon Mountain Baptist Church and was a veteran of the US Army. He was a retired auto body technician.

Surviving are: two sons, Rev. Shannon (Peggy) McKee of Easley and Randy (Dana) Tribble of Belton; two daughters Christy McKee Shaw of Easley and Tannis Tribble Ricketts of Belton; his brother, Don (Barbara) McKee of Greenville; three sisters, Janet McKee (Ken) Grant of Williamston, Jean Howe of Easley and Brenda Hand of NC; eight grandchildren, Heather (Adam) Moon, Hailey (Cody) Crawford, Garrett (Courtney) Ricketts, Savannah (Kevin) Dean, Austin (Brittany) Phillips, Hayden (Hannah) McKee, Karlee McKee and Kali McKee; five great-grandchildren, Brexley Ricketts, Harper Crawford, Branston Ricketts, Finely Crawford and Braxton Phillips; and his best friend, Waymon Davis, AKA, D-Dog.

Mr. McKee was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a daughter, Alesia Tribble Moon; and a sister, Karen Keeler.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday January 29, 2025 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shannon McKee and Rev. Rickey Knight officiating, Burial with military honors will follow in Garden of Memories.
