Born in Ware Shoals, she was the daughter of the late Clarence P. Cunningham and Elizabeth Russell Coker Cunningham. She was a member of Chiquola Baptist Church, Honea Path, and retired from Torrington, Honea Path plant. She was a godly woman who loved the Lord and served Him faithfully. She loved her family and enjoyed crocheting, cooking, her grandchildren and reading her Bible.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Gable/Ronnie and JoAnn Cothran/Michael, four grandchildren, Tracy Gable/Belinda, Jody Gable/Karen, Clementina Campbell/Tim and Susan Irvine, seven great-grandchildren, Ethan, Kayla, Kimberly, Makenzie, Hailey, Destiny,and Dakota, one great-great-grandchild, Cohen Gable.
She was predeceased by one grandson, Adam Cothran, six brothers, Butch, Claude, Clyde, Gordan, John and Rayford Cunningham, and two sisters, Betty Reese and Joyce Haley. She was the last of her immediate family.
Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery.
