Born in Honea Path, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Evelyn Branyon Lindsay. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church, Honea Path, and retired from Monsanto of Greenwood after completing more than 30 years of service. She loved caring for her daughter, grandsons, and great grandson. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening.
Surviving are her husband Larry Wayne and daughter Sandra Knight Grover of the home, a brother, Olin Lindsay of Belton, five sisters, Jeanette Reed of Belton, Carolyn Ashley (Jimmy Brock) of Honea Path, JoAnn Sellers (Dan) of Anderson, Betty Wilson (Bill) of Williamston, and June Gambrell of Honea Path, two grandsons, Chad Grover of Honea Path and Matthew Grover (Caralee) of Anderson, a great grandson, Spencer Grover, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by three brothers, Ray “Sonny” Lindsay, Welton David “Doodle” Lindsay, and Donald “Duck” Lindsay, and two sisters, Marion Banks and Clara Ashley.
Graveside Services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at the Garden of Memories with Rev. Bill Jordan officiating.
