Born in Franklin County, GA, she was a daughter of the late O’Dell Ouzts and Eula Edwards Traynham. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was twice married, first to the late Joseph A. Davis. She was employed by Riegel Textile Co. for 37 years and retired from the Milliken Sharon Plant of Abbeville. After her retirement she worked with her husband remodeling houses.

Surviving are her husband, Ralph of the home, a son, Kyle G. Davis (Juanita) of Ware Shoals,  a daughter, Robin D. Caldwell of Ware Shoals, a step-son, James Keith Smith (Donna) of Ware Shoals, six grandchildren, Cyndee, (Craig), Angie (Joey), Beth, Brandi (Eugene), Crystal, and Jamey (Emily), fourteen great grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her step-father, Paul Traynham, three brothers, James Franklin Traynham, Berlin Ouzts, and Carl Ouzts, five sisters, Hazel Abercrombie, Pauline Cooley, Eva Nell Gunnells, Sara Mae Martinez, and Gatha Martin, a step-daughter, Vickie Smith, her daughter-in-law, Herta Bilgrim Davis, and two great grandchildren, Saul and Hannah.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, December 23, 2024 at Calvary Baptist Church, Ware Shoals, with the Rev. Greg Nix and Rev. Tim Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
