Born in Abbeville County, he was a son of Hazel Mae Prince Martin and the late Ralph Grubbs Martin. He was of the Baptist faith and was the retired owner/operator of Terry’s Clean Up Shop.
Surviving in addition to his wife of Honea Path and his mother of Donalds are: two sons, Jason Lee Martin of Donalds and Michael Brandon (Leah) Martin of Honea Path; his grandson, Mick Branyon Martin; two brothers, Ronnie Martin of Donalds and Ralph (Chris) Martin, Jr. of Boiling Springs; his first wife, Linda Branyon Martin; his uncle, E. Rayford Prince of Abbeville, his faithful friend, Ronnie Leonard; and his beloved dog, Bella.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel, Honea Path with Rev. James Bannister officiating. Burial will follow in Donalds Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends from 1-2 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
