Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Blanchard and Gertrude Sullivan Lollis. She was a member of Chiquola Baptist church, and was retired form her work in textiles at Essex in Belton. She was a graduate of Honea Path High School.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her son Keith Smith (Alora) and her daughter Kathy Shaw, both of Honea Path; three grandchildren: Justin Manley (Amanda), Jason Manley (Lynette), and Barbara Jo Smith, three great-grandchildren: Sarah Hughes, Abby Hicks (Michael), and Hunter Manley; and two great-grandchildren: Trenton Hughes and Evangeline Hicks.
Graveside Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 11, 2024 at Garden of Memories with Rev. Ronnie Powell and Rev. Mark Thomas officiating.
The family is at their respective homes, and will receive friends following the service at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Myrtle Smith fund, c/o Pruitt Funeral Home, PO Box 266, Honea Path SC 29654 or above at our donation link.
