Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of Pauline Rodgers O’Shields of Honea Path and the late Cecil Edward O’Shields. She was of the Baptist Faith. She had attended Berea High School. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was an avid animal lover and protector. She was formerly an EKG technician at Greenville Memorial Hospital and more recently a caretaker for her mother.
Surviving are her mother of Honea Path, a son, Jeremy Wilkerson (Beverly) of Honea Path, two daughters, Erica Thrush-Almeida (Adam) of Greenville and Maranda Thrush (Ansel) of Honea Path, a sister, Lynn O’Shields-Lu (Paul) of Spring Hill, FL, and three grandchildren, CC, Evie, and Nico Almeida.
