Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Willie “Bill” Edwin and Wanda Ellis Davenport Walker. She was a life long member of Chiquola Baptist Church. Lynne received at Bachelor of Science Degree from Presbyterian College and received her Masters Degree from Clemson University. She retired from Anderson School District 1 where she was a Guidance Counselor and Adult Education Intake Coordinator.
Surviving are: her sister, Cynthia (Clarence) Adkins of Honea Path; her nephew, Carson (Emily) Adkins; her niece, Chandler (Justin) Horne; two great-nieces, Mallie Paige Adkins and Ava Lynne Horne; and her fur baby, Annabelle.
Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Chiquola Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories.
