Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late George and Ruby Kelly. He was a devoted member of Chiquola Baptist Church and the retired owner and operator of Poore’s Garage. Mr. Kelly loved his church and will be remembered as the best husband and daddy ever.
Surviving in addition to his loving wife of 64 years of the home are: a daughter, Lisa (Skeet) Devall of Belton; a brother, Joe (Judy) Kelly of Belton; three grandchildren, Nicholas Lloyd, Rocky Elrod and Andy (Adryanne) Devall; and seven great-grandchildren, Ashton (Daevinee) Elrod, Braylin Elrod, Alia Elrod, Riley Devall, Reagan “LuLu” Devall, Baylee Brown and Kayd Brown.
Mr. Kelly was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Pam Lloyd; four brothers, Riley Kelly, Troy Kelly, Wilford Kelly and Elmer Kelly; his sister, Margie Adams and a grandchild, Phillip Elrod.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Chiquola Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Powell, Rev. Mark Thomas, and Dr. Jerry White officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories.
The family is at the home and will receive friends from 1-2:30 P.M. Thursday at the church prior to the service.
