Danny Hanley

Ware Shoals – Danny Roy Hanley, 71, husband of Helen Baker Hanley, of South Greenwood Avenue, died  Monday, August 5 in Charleston.

 Born in Anderson County, he was a son of Pauline Banister Hanley and the late Roy Lee Hanley. He was a member of Welcome Presbyterian Church and was a truck driver for ASI of Ware Shoals. He formerly drove for Smith and Waters for 30 years.

Surviving are his wife, Helen, of the home, his mother, Pauline, of Ware Shoals, a son, Kenny Roy Hanley of Ware Shoals, two daughters, Danielle Sullivan (Josh) of Ware Shoals, and Dana Nolan (Robbie) of Ladson, five sisters, Shelby Laughlin of Greenwood,   Ann Bowen of Ware Shoals, Sylvia Crittendon (Buddy) of Hodges, Judy McGill of Donalds, and Vickie Cowart (Bobby) of Ware Shoals, three grandchildren, Kaylin, Klay, and Ken and a fur baby, Luna.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Monday, August 12, 2024 at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel, Ware Shoals with Rev. Janice Hughey officiating.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM at Parker-White Funeral Home on Monday prior to the service.
