Born in Danville, VA, she was a daughter of the late Connie Barto and Mamie Louise Sailors Truelove. She was a member of Ware Shoals First Baptist Church and a graduate of Ware Shoals High School. She was retired from Riegel Textile Co.
Surviving are two brothers, Jimmy Truelove (Michele) of Waterloo, and Billy Truelove (Gail) of Navarro, FL, three grandchildren: Michael McLean, Steven McLean, and Carrie Beth Grant, and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Janet Patrice McLean, two brothers, Hoyt and Bobby Truelove, and a sister, Katherine Knoblock.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, August 4, 2024 at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel, Ware Shoals, With Dr. Floyd Parker officiating. Burial will be private.
