Born in Saluda County, she was a daughter of the late Jessie James and Reba McCormick Warren. She was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are a son, William H. Edwards, of Ware Shoals and a daughter, Janet Atkinson, of Grovetown, GA, and two sisters, Faye Cope of Mocksville, NC and Jessie Still of Evans, GA.
