Born in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late James Crawford and Ethel Rogers Staggs. Mrs. Gregory formerly worked at Mayfair Mills and loved animals.
Surviving are: two sons, Jimmy (Laura) Gregory and Dale Gregory, both of Spartanburg; her daughter, Shirley (Roger) Crowe of Spartanburg; her brother, Alan (Diane) Staggs of Hendersonville, NC; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Gregory was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Fred Defoy Gregory, III; two brothers, Charlie Staggs and Jerry Staggs; and a grandchild, Rebecca Crowe.
Graveside services will be held at 1 P.M. Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Keowee Baptist Church Cemetery, Honea Path, SC.
