Born in Abbeville County, she was the daughter of the late Todd and Emma Brock. She was a member of Chiquola Baptist Church. She spent many years working in shirt plants, glove mfg. plant and was a beautician. After retirement she has been known for sewing, crafts, crocheting and many talents. She will be remembered for always making us laugh.
Left to cherish her memories are: her son, Dennis Hall (Frances); two daughters, Faye Bates (Norman Phillips) and Joy Moore (Butch); grandchildren, Kevin Hall (Marveen), Rodney Bates (Amanda), and Wendy Abrams (Michael); two step grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren; and her special sisters, Evelyn Parris, Christeen Johns and Martha Gambrell.
Lois was preceded in death by her grandson, Travis Hall, five brothers, two sisters, and son-in-law, Ronald Bates.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brad Haynes and the Honorable Mark Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories.
The family is at the home of her daughter, Faye Bates, and will receive friends from 1-2 P.M. Tuesday at Pruitt Funeral Home prior to the service.
